Is your make-up suitable for Sensitive Skin?

Yes. There is minimum allergy risk as the mineral makeup (Jane Iredale) contains no fillers such as talc, FD & C dyes, and all products laboratory tested for sensitivities.

Are your products tested on animals?

No, Jane Iredale mineral makeup opposes testing on animals.

What grades of products do you use?

Laura Jean uses mineral make-up featuring state-of-the-art ingredients, all vitamins and antioxidants are pharmaceutical grade.

Liquid minerals contain active ingredients such as Coenzyme Q10, vitamin C, vitamin K, seaweeds and hyaluronic acid; it’s a makeup and skincare in one application.

Should I have a facial prior to the Big Day?

It's a good idea to have one or two facials several months before the event in order to ensure your skin is in tip top condition. Laura can do this for you and recommend a healthy skin regime.

Should I get my hair or makeup done first?

It is best to have your makeup applied after your hair has been styled.

How long does the makeup take?

For the bride: approx 45 mins, the bridesmaids: 30 mins each, but all is discussed at the trial.

Will I need to touch up my makeup during the day?

Laura uses make-up designed to last which is why it is so popular for weddings, however, you can be supplied with a lipstick to reapply throughout the day.

How do I secure an appointment?

For a wedding, a 50% deposit is required in advance, the balance is payable on the day. To book a workshop,the full amount is payable in advance, either cash or cheque is fine.

What other cosmetics do you use?

As well as Jane Iredale mineral makeup, Laura also uses Mac [Mac Pro member], and Benefit Cosmetics which are also great quality and last really well.
